Divinely Spiced Wine

• 4 cups (1 liter) red grape juice
• 1 1/2 quart (1.5 liter) bottle of jug red wine
• 2-3 sticks cinnamon
• 1/2 tablespoon whole cloves
• 1/2 tablespoon allspice
• 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
• 3/4 cup (170 grams) firmly packed brown sugar

Instructions:

In a large saucepan, combine juice and wine. Add spices and brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Decrease heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Adjust sweetness by adding sugar to taste.
