Honey Cake
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 heaping teaspoon allspice
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup safflower oil
- 1 cup raw honey
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 baking pan. Combine all ingredients well, pour into pan, and bake for 45 minutes. Serve unfrosted.
Yield: 1 large cake
