Cornbread
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups yellow corn meal
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
Preheat a greased 9x9 pan in a 425º F oven for 20-22 minutes. Pour bread mixture into hot pan and place back in oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot with butter or honey.
Yield: 1 large loaf
