- 1 cup firmly packed white cheese
- 2 1/2 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Have cheese set aside and shredded. Place flour in small bowl and mix enough cold water to make a smooth, flowing paste. In a small saucepan, warm milk, butter, and salt over medium low heat. When under boiling, whisk in cheese, a little at a time. Whisk in flour paste and continue to whisk until smooth and thick. Use on bread or vegetables.
Try it on toast!
